About Andrea Bolden (formerly Andrea Henry)

Legal strategy for experts who want leverage, not more hours

I work with established experts who are done trading time for money and ready to turn what they know into scalable, protected assets.

My work sits at the intersection of intellectual property law, business strategy, and monetization. Not just to protect what you've built, but to help it grow beyond you.

Protection Is Only Half the Story

Most lawyers focus on protection.
I focus on growth.

Protecting your work matters, but protection alone doesn't create freedom. What changes the game is knowing how to structure, position, and monetize your expertise in a way that scales without sacrificing quality or control.

That hybrid lens is what I bring to every client relationship.

The Moment Everything Changed

In 2018, I received a stage 2 breast cancer diagnosis.

I was sitting in a hospital bed, still answering client emails, when something became painfully clear. I had built a successful business that depended entirely on me. If I wasn't working, the income stopped.

From the outside, everything looked solid. On the inside, it was fragile.

That moment forced me to rethink not just my health, but the way my business was built—and what "success" actually meant.

What I Started to See Clearly

Over more than 15 years as a business and IP lawyer, I began to notice a pattern.

The entrepreneurs building real, lasting wealth weren't selling more hours. They were turning their expertise into assets.

They licensed their frameworks.

They built certification programs.

They protected their methods before scaling them.

They weren't working harder. They were working differently.

Once I saw it, I couldn't unsee it.

What I Do Now

Today, I help established service entrepreneurs turn their intellectual property into scalable revenue streams—through licensing, certification, and thoughtful legal strategy.

My clients are experts with proven results who want:

  • Revenue that isn't tied to their calendar
  • Protection for what makes their work valuable
  • A business that can grow without burning them out
  • Something worth owning—and eventually selling

This work is strategic, collaborative, and designed with the long game in mind.

A Different Kind of Legal Partnership

This is not transactional legal work.

I don't just draft documents and send you on your way. I help you think through how your expertise should be structured, protected, and positioned—before you scale it.

That means fewer surprises.

Better decisions.

And legal frameworks that actually support growth—instead of slowing it down.

Clients come to me for clarity. They stay because the strategy works.
